The family-run Mommom's Bakery doesn't have a storefront (yet), so their website is vital for online orders. I redesigned the site to streamline the ordering process and guide their customers right to the goodies. And let their cozy brand shine!

I reworked the product categories to better reflect their current menu and displayed them on tabs like a classic home cookbook. For mobile navigation, the product categories are part of the sorting menu.

Different items need different options presented on their product pages. Shipping is only available for large pies, and due to a web hosting quirk, their shipping orders have to be placed on a different site. This button setup minimizes the interruption for the customer and prevents confusion of the two order types.
Navigation on mobile is just as straightforward. The cookbook tab categories on the Products page are found in the sorting options.

The website for local business Linker Guitars was built from a generic template and the content was out of date. I designed a custom site to reflect Linker's brand and the shop's current focus on repairs.

Franklin Linker's bio captures the soul of his business and needed an About page that would let it shine. I created a background graphic to illustrate his career's very literal journey.

The shop offers a vast array of services that can be difficult to parse. Grouping them into categories with a clear pricing structure gives customers a scannable list:

The shop also sells various accessories and a selection of consignment instruments, which previously didn't have a mention on the site.
On mobile, the homepage puts the shop address and hours front and center. Transit in the area is car-dependent, so directions are a must.

Most important of all though was Rebecca's ability to tell our story while keeping the craftsman tone and local hometown feel our business represents.

Happiness Reclaimed calls for "a big tent," and their website serves as the hub. Carol asked for a clean, fresh-feeling design that breaks with the cookie cutter templates of rectangles to present her message of change rippling through people's lives. A white background, she requested. A clear slate. With a series of custom graphics pulled from an image of a literal ripple in water, it all came together.
